In the area to participate in the Sun Life Classic Invitational curling tournament in Brantford a couple of weeks ago, Canadian Women's Curling Champions, Team Jennifer Jones, took a break from their hectic curling schedule to enjoy an evening at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto recently with members from their sponsor, Jeld-Wen Of Canada.

Team Jones had a great time at the track and appeared on The Score's Bet Night Live program to pick the winner of the Jammed Lovely Stakes. Team Jones went with the Brian Lynch trained Platinum Exchange, who finished third behind 40-1 longshot Euro Platinum and the favoured Barracks Road. Team Jones also presented the winner's trophy of the Jammed Lovely Stakes to the connections of Euro Platinum. Overall, the night was a big success for Jeld-Wen Of Canada and Team Jones.

Team Jones followed up their visit to Woodbine by winning the Sun Life Classic Invitational and will look to win their fourth straight Scotties Tournament of Hearts title in the new year.
