Here's your daily look at the nominees for the 2011 Canadian Triple Crown for June 4, 2011.



- Soul of Gold raced in the first race at Churchill Downs on Friday. The race was a maiden claiming race ($40,000 - $35,000) for three-year-olds and up that was run over one mile on dirt. Soul of Gold finished sixth beaten 17 and one quarter lengths.


- Withdrawal raced in the second race at Woodbine on Friday. The race was a claiming race ($32,000 - $30,000) for three-year-olds that was run over six and one half furlongs on polytrack. Withdrawal finished fourth beaten nine and one half lengths.
 

- Celtic Conviction won the fourth race at Woodbine on Friday. The race was an allowance race for three-year-olds and up that was run over one mile and one sixteenth on turf. Celtic Conviction won the race by one length.

Okiyama won the sixth race at Woodbine on Friday. The race was an allowance race for three-year-olds and up that was run over one mile and one sixteenth on polytrack. Okiyama won the race by one and one half lengths.


- Check Your Soul worked two furlongs at Woodbine this morning. The three-year-old colt breezed two furlongs in 25.20 over Woodbine’s polytrack. The workout ranked third out of seven horses who worked that distance this morning.
 

- Orocomo worked four furlongs at Woodbine this morning. The three-year-old colt breezed four furlongs in 49.80 over Woodbine’s polytrack. The workout ranked 46th out of 79 horses who worked that distance this morning.

- Molinaro Handsome worked three furlongs at Woodbine this morning. The three-year-old gelding breezed three furlongs in 37.00 over Woodbine’s dirt training track. The workout ranked seventh out of 16 horses who worked that distance on the dirt training track this morning.
 
- Top Prospect worked four furlongs at Woodbine this morning. The three-year-old gelding breezed four furlongs in 49.40 over Woodbine’s polytrack. The workout ranked 32nd out of 79 horses who worked that distance this morning.
