My Selections For Breeders' Cup Saturday

Wow! What a first day of racing in the Breeders' Cup. We had it all didn't we? Great races, controversy in the Ladies' Classic, a dangerous move in the Marathon that led to jockeys trading punches after the race on the track and in the Jockey's Room. Pretty crazy stuff. After six races are in the books, we will do it all again for eight races tomorrrow, which includes the Breeders' Cup Classic.

A lot of underdogs came through with some big scores today. That could mean a lot of favourites will hit tomorrow. Earlier this year I went to Woodbine and Jeff Bratt noted that the day before, all but one favourite cashed. Well, I bet longshots the entire program and all but one longshot came through. Could be something to consider. Quickly, here are my selections for tomorrow:

Juvenile Turf

1. Master of Hounds
2. Madman Diaries
3. Pluck

Sprint

1. Girolamo
2. Big Drama
3. Smiling Tiger

Turf Sprint

1. Silver Timber
2. Unzip Me
3. Chamberlain Bridge

Juvenile

1. Stay Thirsty
2. Boys At Tosconova
3. Uncle Mo

Mile

1. Goldikova
2. Sidney's Candy
3. Gio Ponti

Dirt Mile

1. Morning Line
2. Here Comes Ben
3. Hurricane Ike

Turf

1. Champ Pegasus
2. Workforce
3. Behkabad
4. Al Khali (If Workforce scratches)

Classic

1. Zenyatta
2. Lookin At Lucky
3. Quality Road

There they are. While I didn't hit a winner in my top spot hit on day one, I had a couple of number two rated horses hit the winner's circle so I'm getting closer. Enjoy the final day of the Breeders' Cup everyone!
