The Queen's Plate Contenders: April 21, 2011

Here's your daily look at the nominees for the 2011 Canadian Triple Crown on Thursday, April 21, 2011:

- Put It On Hold, Superbull, Reigners Lane, Oban and Enduring Star have all been entered into Saturday's ninth race at Woodbine. The race is a maiden special weight race for three-year-olds and will be run over one mile and one sixteenth. Oban will be on the inside in post one, Put It On Hold will start from post three, Reigners Lane will start from post four, Enduring Star will start from post five and Superbull will start from post six. Oban is trained by Michael Keogh and will be ridden by David Clark. Put It On Hold is trained by Michael Doyle and will be ridden by Slade Callaghan. Reigners Lane is trained by Thomas O'Keefe and will be ridden by Luis Contreras. Enduring Star is trained by Mark Casse and will be ridden by Eurico Rosa Da Silva. Superbull is also trained by Mark Casse, but will be ridden by Patrick Husbands.

- Withdrawl worked five furlongs at Woodbine this morning. The three-year-old gelding breezed five furlongs in 1:02.40 over Woodbine's main track. The workout ranked 19th out of 35 horses who worked that distance this morning.

- Okiyama worked four furlongs at Woodbine this morning. The three-year-old gelding worked his four furlongs handily in 49.00 over Woodbine's main track. The workout ranked seventh of out 29 horses who worked that distance this morning.

- Top the Podium worked three furlongs at Woodbine this morning. The three-year-old colt breezed three furlongs in 37.40 over Woodbine's main track. The workout ranked seventh out of 22 horses who worked that distance this morning.

- Grand Style worked four furlongs at Keeneland this morning. The three-year-old filly breezed four furlongs in 48.60 over Keeneland's main track. The workout ranked 26th out of 43 horses who worked that distance this morning.
